Really? Really and truly? I’ve been desperate for something whimsical and witty that is decidedly unrelated to classes. Dare I hope you’ve found a good long series to fill the void?
It’s definitely got a sense of humor, but I wouldn’t call it whimsical and comedy is not the primary mood. It’s pretty darn brutal in spots, actually. I just mentioned the humor because it’s surprising to find it in a series like this. If you want more funny than fighting, I would go with Pratchett.
