Very useful introduction to OpenSSH and the many cool things it can do.

A wonderful introduction to natural language processing using the NLTK toolkit. This book also serves as an introduction to Python for those new to the language (and to programming, though the pace is pretty fast). And for those like me, not new to Python but totally ignorant of NLP, it contains a wealth of interesting material. Finally, the examples showcase the elegance of Python as a language for text processing.

What a magnificent series. I will have to read it again one day, it is a masterpiece.

A wonderfully slow novel set in an English public school during the 1920’s. Just the first in a long series I am looking forward to reading more of.

Nice collection of non-fiction essays by Gibson. Got some good reads to put on my todo list from this one.

I loved this quirky and somewhat rambling tour of the evolutionary logic of deception and self-deception, illustrated with some surprisingly honest personal anecdotes as well as some guaranteed-to-be-controversial commentary on current events.

A memoir set during the author’s bout with cancer, but it’s about much more than that. This is a dude who has lived a very interesting life.
