Foer learns the almost-lost art of the memory palace and meets the small group of nutballs that are keeping it alive on the international memory circuit. With bonus material on the sciences of memory, forgetting, autism, savantism, and the nature of expertise. Highly recommended.

A pretty good collection of music and pop culture criticism, mostly from the 60’s. Will have to give some of that music another listen.

I normally don’t go in for Westerns, but for Leonard I will make an exception. Great stuff.

Really good survey of the sciences of complexity. The introductory material alone, which reviews the relevant advances in other scientific disciplines, is worth the price of the book.
